Our
courses are of 4 weeks duration (20 hours of class
a week).
Course
Dates: A New Course begins the first or second Monday
of every month.
Class
Times: Generally 10.00 A.M to 2.00 P.M from Monday
to Friday, which also includes field trips.

This course is designed for students that have little
knowledge of Spanish, and consists of a general
overview, of the basic structures, and at the
same time improving and consolidating the knowledge
you have obtained.

This second level allows the student to expand his
Spanish language knowledge. The general objective
is to prepare the student to speak Spanish fluently
and correctly in any given situation and introduce
one to the use of the language in a personal way (narrative
resources, emotional expressions, opinions and assessments.

Intensive E/LE courses of four weeks duration.
In one month you will be able to speak with
Spanish people from any city, thanks to the collaboration
of our experienced staff and teachers.The courses
start the first Monday of every month.

The Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language
(D.E.L.E. ) are the official accreditation of the
degree of fluency of the Spanish Language, issued by the
Instituto Cervantes and recognised by the Ministry
of Education and Culture of Spain.

The Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (D.E.L.E.)
are the official accreditation of the degree of fluency
in the Spanish Language, issued by the Instituto Cervantes
and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Culture
of Spain.

The Diploma of Spanish (Intermediate-mid/threshold
level) accredits candidates having sufficient linguistic
competence to understand and to handle adequately everyday
situations and to communicate desires and needs which
require an elementary use of the language.

The Diploma of Spanish (High-intermediate level) proves
candidates have the sufficient linguistic competence
to allow communication in everyday situations and in
normal communication circumstances which do not require
the use of specialized terms.

The Diploma of Spanish (Superior level) accredits candidates
having an advanced knowledge of the language which allows
communication in all situations requiring advanced use
of the language and a knowledge of Spanish culture.
The teachers of this course are qualified professionals
regarding the E.L.E Certificate and with enormous experience
in D.E.L.E exam correcting.

The candidates who want to sit the exams in order to
obtain the Diplomas of Spanish will have to fulfil the
following conditions:
- To prove, when registering, his/her condition of
citizenship in which Spanish is not an official language.
- The citizens of Spanish-speaking countries, who reside
in states where Spanish is not an official language,
will be able to register if they fulfill at least two
of the following criteria:
- That Spanish is not the mother tongue of any of
his/her parents.
- That Spanish is not the first language he/she learnt.
- That Spanish is not the habitual language of communication.
- That he/she has not taken the totality or a part
of his/her primary and secondary education in Spanish.
The candidates previously mentioned in section 2 must
declare in writing that they fulfil at least two of the
abovementioned criteria.
Exam Format:
The exams are made up of five parts and each part consists
of different exercises. In order to obtain the Diplomas
of Spanish, in the Intermediate-mid/threshold level, High-intermediate
level or Superior level, the qualification of "pass" is
required in every part of the same exam.

The candidate will receive four exercises from
simple dialogues of recorded information. Students
will have to select the correct answers.

- The candidate will relate different sentences
with the corresponding situations.
- The candidate will need to find, in some sentences,
the words and expressions which are not adequate
in context.
- The candidate will complete a text by selecting
the correct option.

The candidate will hold a conversation with examiners
for 10-15 minutes.

The candidate will make the two following exercises:
- Incomplete text (20 spaces): Students will
chose the best option from three possible answers
for each space.
- Students will complete forty brief dialogues
with the most adequate answers.

The candidate will hold a conversation with examiners
for 10-15 minutes.

- A composition.
These essays must be no longer than 150 to 200 words.

The candidate will answer sixteen multiple choice
questions about four spoken texts (recordings). The
recordings will include conversations between two
or more speakers, or comments or reports broadcast
by mass media.

Grammar and vocabulary

The candidate will attempt three of the following
exercises:
- Incomplete text (20 spaces): Students will choose
the best option out of three proposed for each space.
- Multiple choice exercise: Students will complete
the exercise with one of the proposed options in
any of the 35 sentences of the exercise.
- Students will have to detect five grammatical
errors in one or more brief text passages.
